The Vampire, more than one of the undead the Vampire is among the most infamous of monsters to be found in our darkest nightmares
He survives on the blood of the living, leeching off humankind (and occasionally animals) like a parasite while appearing like a beckoning flower only to reveal itself as a carnivorous plant
Using charm, sophistication, and a little hypnosis to truly ensnare the unwary, the Vampire leaves his prey completely at his mercy to drain them of their blood, and there is ever the risk that those fed upon will be turned and made into a life-guzzling phantom themselves
The vamprie goes by other names, such as the Jiang shi, nosferatu, but probably the most well-known of the vampire legend is the villain of Stoker's fable, Count Draculain spired by the warlord Vlad the Impaler
