DC - The New Teen Titans - Group Shot

Here we go, my 2017 interpretation of the Teen Titans.

The first Boy Wonder and former sidekick of Batman, however after a suffering a terrible loss in Gotham, Dick Grayson took out his frustration on his mentor, donned a new mask and moved to Jump City. Though he intended to establish himself as a sole hero, Nightwing met up with several other young heroes during the course of an alien invasion, banding together to defeat their enemy, Nightwing and his newfound friends became a perfect team and thus established themselves as Jump City's newest Heroes, the Teen Titans.

Second heir to the throne of the Planet, Tamaran. After her planet came under attack from the Gordanians, she was betrayed by her jealous older sister, Blackfire and sold as a slave to the Gordanian empire. however during her transport, she managed to escape and flee to Earth, where she met Nightwing and several other young heroes before the Gordanians followed her and attempted a small invasion. banding together with her newfound friends, Starfire managed to beat the Gordanians back and thus became one of the founding members of the Teen Titans.

Once a simple student named Victor Stone, a promising athlete with a shot at the National School Football championship, however fate had a terrible twist and a severe car accident cost him both his mother and the use of all his limbs. In order save his son's life, Dr Silas Stone, a scientist well renowned in the engineering department, used several forms of technology, including that of alien origin to replace Victor's damaged body, of course this did not come without consequence. Disgusted by his new appearance the cyborg ran off and took to the streets, where he eventually met up with Nightwing, who to his surprise, did not even flinch at his cybernetic form. After aiding in the defeat of an invading alien force, Cyborg became Nightwing's second in command and thus formed the Teen Titans.

Being raised in the dimension of Azarath, Rachel Roth always feared her powers due to her half-demon heritage, and the terrible prophecy that came with them when she turned 18. Not wanting their home to suffer such a terrible fate, the people of Azarath sent her away and she was forced to flee to Earth's dimension. After several months of solitude, Rachel finally found friends when she met up with a few young heroes who were trying to ward off an alien invasion. After the alien's defeat, though reluctant at first, she finally accepted their invitation and joined her new friends in their newfound superhero team.

After being brought up in the jungles of Brazil, Africa, India, and several other places by his geneticist parents, young Garfield Logan eventually was bitten by a rare species of Green Monkey and contracted a serious illness called Sakutia. In order to save his live Logan's parents, along with their partner Dr, Register, concocted a mutagenic serum that should contract the illness, as a side-effect his skin and hair turned green and he was blessed with shapeshifting abilities that allowed him to turn into any animal he has seen. After his parents' trajic death in a boating accident, the "Beast Boy" was taken in by a superhero team known as the Doom Patrol, which he eventually left after a couple of years. Relocating to Jump City, beast Boy eventually found a new team when he aided them in the prevention of an Alien invasion.

In his late teens, whilst caught up in a gang war at the docks, high school student Virgil Hawkins was doused with an experimental chemical from containers that were damaged during said fight. As such, after also getting electrocuted from the electric fence whilst said chemical was being doused upon him, he wakes up and gains a variety of electromagnetic powers and later became a costumed crusader against crime after witnessing some of the more renowned heroes on TV. After leaving his family in Dakota in order to protect them from the many enemies he had made since his heroic debut, Virgil, now known as Static, eventually arrived in Jump City, where ironically enough he gets caught up in the middle of an Alien invasion, while at the same time meeting several other young heroes. After the Aliens's defeat, Static jumped at the chance and thus formed the Teen Titans with his new friends.

A half human-half alien hybrid and trainee of the Blue Lantern Corps. While knowing so little of her alien father aside from the fact that he was an alien from Arane II, Salmir Odach, or Sally for short had a somewhat happy life with her human mother in her younger years, despite having to be kept from the world in their apartment and home-schooled most of her life. Unfortunately tragedy came in the form of pneumonia, which he mother eventually succumbed to when her daughter turned 13, after that Sally was left all alone, however due to the hope she had of eventually finding her father and her life becoming better, Sally eventually found herself gaining the attention of the Blue Lantern Corps, thus she was teleported to Odym, where she went through the recruitment process and passed. After two years of training with the Corps, Sally was eventually allowed to return to earth, ironically enough during the time when the Gordanians were staging a small invasion. After the Gordanians' defeat, Sally decided to stay on earth with the heroes whom she aided in defeating the invaders, thus forming the Teen Titans.

The Teen Titans' Gal in the chair. Orphaned at the age of three, Staci Sanchez, as she was formally known, was raised for two years in a Mexican orphanage before American soldiers snatched her and several other children and brought them to a secret facility across the border, where she was illegally experimented on for something called Project Cadmus. During the next 14 years of her life, her real name long forgotten, the girl, now known as Echo, was trained by the military and given several serums and enhancements that granted her a "Sonic Scream" but also made her hearing highly sensitive even to the slightest tiptoe of an insect, as such she was forced to permanently wear a specialised headset that dampens every sound she hears. Eventually becoming the military's living weapon, Echo was soon driven into despair after her first assassination assignment, her only solace being the music she loved during her daily listen to the radio, but then as though a miracle had occurred, an accident erupted in the facility, causing enough chaos for Echo to escape and flee to Jump City, where she was forced to go underground. In another stroke of luck. she eventually found shelter among a group of young heroes, who agreed  to keep her safe from the government in exchange for her services as an espionage expert, as such she keeps to their base, the Titan's Tower and acts as their eyes and ears across the city, relaying any news of crime or updates she can muster in order to help the team.

The Teen Titan's pet and mascot. Not much is known about these mysterious feline aside from the fact that she merely showed up at Teen Titans tower one day supposedly on a cargo ship from China... along with the fact that she's able to speak. Claiming to be one of the original immortal zodiac animals from centuries past, the cat, named Buxing, took an instant liking to the Titans, and they her, as such it didn't take long for the to take her in as their residential pet. During her stay with the Titans she usually makes sly comments and one-liners to cheer up the mood and usually spends her days playing online poker on Echo's computer, but on occasion can be quite resourceful whenever she needs to aid the Titans in their crime-fighting, particularly providing them knowledge in certain historical facts that is relevant to the case.
