Journey to the West - Shu Yue

Orphaned as a cub, Shu Yue lived the first 10 years of her life as a strong hunter in her pack, well known among the other wolves for her alluring howls. One day, after being a attacked by another wolf while defending a pair of cubs, she was wounded and was left with only one eye, after which the stronger females of her pack forced her away, leading to her exile. Taking Pity upon the poor creature, Chang'e, the Goddess of the Moon blessed her with the Elixir of Immortality and appointed her as her personal body-guard. However one day she accidentally consumed cannibus from the personal gardens of Magu, the Goddess of Hemp, thus she was unable to perform her duties while Ba Jie flirted with Chang'e in her palace. For her failure, Shu Yue was exiled from Heaven and was forced into isolation in the forests East of Tepe Narenj, where she waited until Tripitake came and she became his forth disciple.
